Belconnen Little Athletics Centre (BLAC) was established in 1972.
BLAC meets on Saturday mornings at Cook oval, commencing in October and concluding in March, with a break over the Christmas holidays.
The philosophy of little athletics is self-improvement in an environment promoting fun, family and fitness. The development of skills and fitness is encouraged and supported. Children of all abilities aged 5-17 are welcome.
BLAC is part of the ACT Little Athletics Association (ACTLAA), which has members from the ACT and surrounding areas of NSW.
BLAC is run by volunteers – parents, friends and relatives.
As an incorporated association, BLAC is governed by the Associations Incorporation Act 1991.
The BLAC Constitution sets out the Governance and Rules of BLAC.
